Workshop

MEMORIA ARTE urns are made in our workshop in Krosno, south-eastern Poland. We work with ancient black oak, Baltic amber and resin.

Ancient black oak

Ancient black oak comes from oak trunks that lay for millennia in water and silt, sealed from the air. The wood of our urns is older than the pyramids. Over that time its colour has changed from brown to deep black. The grain of every urn is different.

Baltic amber

We use amber in decors and details. As a natural material, its shade and clarity vary from piece to piece.

How we work

  1. We prepare the body of the urn and finish the surface.
  2. We make the chosen decor: from the catalogue or to the customer’s design, once approved.
  3. We engrave the name, dates, inscription or artwork.
  4. We inspect the urn, assign its item number and prepare the certificate.
  5. We pack the urn and hand it to the courier.

Natural variations in grain, wood colour and amber are characteristics of the material.
